Biography
Co-Founder and the Director of Business Development and Strategy of the Betrayal
Trauma Recovery Center (BTRC), Jessica earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from
Arizona School of Professional Psychology.
Throughout her career she has worked in forensic settings supporting individuals and families through traumatic circumstances and life changing transitions. Jessica’s clinical focus has become centered on honoring the grief process through life altering changes, such as Betrayal Trauma. BTRC’s intensive treatment model is designed to provide the much-needed space for individuals processing through Betrayal Trauma in a meaningful and supportive manner.
Jessica leads webinars and speaks on the intersection of Disenfranchised Grief and
Betrayal Trauma. As a Certified Grief Professional – completing training as a Certified Betrayed Partner Therapist – she provides integration of the grief process while processing trauma with clients. She is level one and level two trained in Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT), an attachment based interpersonal therapy model that is a leading modality for rapid trauma integration and the primary method of individual treatment at BTRC. She also has training and several years of experience in the treatment of problematic sexual behaviors/sex addiction and its impact on relationships.
In addition to her responsibilities as Director of Business Development, Jessica is a primary therapists for the BTRC intensive programs.
