Alison Davis, MA, LMHC, CSAT, EMDR
Biography
Alison Davis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington as well as a state approved clinical supervisor. She is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). Additionally, she is certified in Couples Communication, and Lifespan Integration and she has completed the level one training for Attachment Focused EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) which are both clinically proven ways to help people resolve trauma, as well as heal from childhood wounds. Since so many painful issues stem from an inability to connect in a loving way with ourselves, Alison loves to help people discover their barrier to this – which is often rooted in negative beliefs from the past. Once uncovered, she helps her clients heal so they can find true intimacy with themselves and others.
In addition to general counseling, she also has extensive experience in the field of addiction and recovery as well as Codependency. In this regard, she enjoys her work with the Partners and family members of addicted individuals. In addition, Alison specializes in healing negative beliefs, trauma, PTSD, anxiety/stress, couples issues including infidelity, depression, and self-esteem. In addition, she specializes in helping people heal from mysterious illnesses such as Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Brain Fog, Electromagnetic Sensitivity, Fibromyalgia, Mold illness, and more. She also provides Christian counseling for those who want that form of help. Alison received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
